DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – ZAGORA DESERT CAMEL RIDE AND NIGHT IN DESERT CAMP

Our 2 day tour from Marrakech to Zagora will allow you to experience the real Morocco while discovering the High Atlas Mountains and the Sahara desert. Our trip will start by driving through the High Atlas Mountains where you can enjoy magnificent sights of green landscapes. While passing by the Tizin Tichka mountain pass, we can make as many stops as needed for you to fully grasp the beauty of the area through small local Berber villages. We will then arrive at the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which is a recognized UNESCO world heritage site where many big international movie and series were filmed (such as Gladiator, the Mummy, Lawrence of Arabia and Game Of Thrones). Then we will move on to Zagora, where you will try the unique experience of Camel trekking through the Sahara dunes. The camels will take us to the desert camp where you will watch the breathtaking desert sunset and then try the mouthwatering Berber cuisine for dinner. While all of this is going on, the atmosphere will soothed by an accompaniment of live Berber music playing, as you’ll sleep in a the camp surrounded by the desert dunes.

DAY 2 : ZAGORA – DRAA VALLEY – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH – FINISH THE PRIVATE TOUR

Today we will be driving back to Marrakech, but on our way there we will drive by the Draa Valley then stop at Ouarzazate. Here you will get to visit a very important Kasbah of the area, the Taourirt Kasbah, in addition to a local film studio that the city is very famous for. Finally, we will drive through the Tizin Tichka mountain pass again before reaching Marrakech. This marks the end of our tour.
